This collection is a contemporary homage to the Idoma people of Benue State, drawing from the
colours, movements, and spirit of their vibrant dance festivals. Known for their striking use of red
and black, symbols of vitality, strength, and ancestral pride, the Idoma identity becomes the

heartbeat of these designs.

Pem reinterprets this heritage into modern silhouettes that balance structure and fluidity—echoing
the rhythm of dance while celebrating the power of cultural dress. Each garment honours the
community’s artistry while speaking the language of today’s fashion: bold, elegant, and deeply rooted.
